Born in 1826 in Birmingham.
Living in Floodgate Street, Birmingham in 1841 age 15 an apprentice fire iron maker, with Joseph McGee, William Bennett, Samuel Wesedal and John Woodhall.
Married Eliza Craythorne (b1827 – d1881) on 31 December 1855 at Birmingham Register Office. Both were living at Barford Street, Birmingham. Present as witnesses were Betsey and Alfred Craythorne. Both Joseph and Eliza were illiterate and had to sign with an ‘X’, as did both witnesses.
Children Alfred (b 1850 – d1911), Louisa (Mason) (b 1853 – d???), Jane (b 1857 – d???), and Joseph (b1862 – d???).
Living at 6 Court, Barford Street, Birmingham when Alfred was born in 1850.

Born in 1827 in Birmingham, the second child of Thomas Crathorn and Obedience Crathorn (Cotterhill).
Baptised 7 May 1830 at St Martins, Birmingham.
Living at Barford Street, Birmingham in 1841 age 8 with father Thomas age 41 a labourer, mother Obedience age 40, brothers Leonard age 10 and Alfred age 11, sister Harriett age 5, brother Thomas age 1 and sister Mary age 1 month.

Born in 1820 in Wolverhampton to Joseph Roberts and Elizabeth Siveter.
Christened 15 January 1821 at St Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton.

Daughter of Thomas and Sarah Cox. Born 1829 in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Living at Clapton Terrace, Old Stratford in 1841 age 10 a female servant with Robert Lane a carrier, his wife Eliza and daughters Lucy Ann and Elizabeth. Also present were Dalton and Jemima Court, Mary Ann Kite, a female servant and Eliza Neil.
Had illegitimate daughter Jane by a baker with whom she was in service.
Married Isaac Barnett 14 June 1849 at the Parish Church, Stratford-upon-Avon. Both were living in Stratford-upon-Avon. Isaac was a boatman, Harriet was 20 and a servant. Present as witnesses were Charles Cox and Ann Jones. Isaac signed his name, Harriet left her mark.
Children - Caroline, Albert, Sarah Eliza (b1865 - d1955), Harriet, Thomas and Alfred.
Living at Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon in 1851 age 22 with daughter Jane age 3 a scholar, daughter Caroline age 1, mother Sarah Cox age 50 a widow, brother Charles Cox age 25 a builder’s labourer. Husband Isaac was on a canal boat nearby.
Living at Cottage near Canal Bridge Lock, Stockton Field, Southam in 1865 when Sarah Eliza born.
After the death of Isaac, Harriet married William Morris on 14 September 1880 at the Parish Church of Stockton. Present as witnesses were Henry Cox and Alfred Barnett. She was commonly known as Granny Morris.
Living at Canal Side, Stockton in 1891 age 59 with husband William age 68 a canal boatman and grandsons Albert Barnet age 10 and William Barnet age 12 a canal boat boy.
Living at 21 Newland Street, Rugby in 1901 age 69 a widow with son Albert, daughter-in-law Charlotte and granddaughter Jennie.

Harriet Cox - 'Granny Morris'

Visiting daughter Sarah Eliza Barnett age 45 a servant at Thornfield, Rugby at the time of the 1911 census. Harriet was 78 and a widow.
Died 2 March 1912 at 16 Queen Street, Rugby age 81 from liver cirrhosis. Death notified by Catherine Barnett, daughter-in-law.

Living at Key Hill, Birmingham in 1841 age 15 with father Thomas age 40 a joiner, mother Ann age 40, sisters Ann age 12, Sarah age 10 and Elizabeth age 8, and brothers Henry age 6 and William age 4.
Living at 5 Springfields, Birmingham in 1851 age 27 a chair and cabinet maker with father Thomas age 52 a cabinet maker, mother Ann age 54, sisters Ann age 24, Sarah age 21 and Elizabeth age 19, brothers William age 17 and Henry age 15 and cousin Thomas age 3.
Married Maria Miller 5 April 1852 at the Parish Church, Handsworth. Charles was 28 and a cabinet maker, Maria was 19 and a spinster. Present as witnesses were John Clark, Selina Derrington and Elizabeth Walton.

Married Charles Walton 5 April 1852 at the Parish Church, Handsworth. Maria was 19 and a spinster, Charles was 28 and a cabinet maker. Present as witnesses were John Clark, Selina Derrington and Elizabeth Walton.
