Married Charlotte Palfrey on 13 September 1841 at the Parish Church, Creech St Michael. Robert was a labourer and Charlotte was a spinster. Present as witnesses were Henry Stevens and Elizabeth Cook.
Children – Robert (b1844 - d1899), Mary (b1846 – d????) and James (b1848 – d1920).
Living at Tangier, Bishops Hull on 17 May 1846 when daughter Mary born.

Died 6 February 1852 age 37 in Bishops Hull from inflamation of the lung. Occupation: labourer. Death notified by Coroner of Curry Rivel and registered 22 May 1852.

Living at Creech St Michael vicarage in 1841 age 20 a female servant with vicar Henry Cresswell age 50 and his family, and Elizabeth Cook age 20 a female servant.
